Boas, tenho um problema abaixo do titulo dos artigos, gostava de colocar um banner de publicidade e ao lado deste, texto do artigo.
Já vi algumas soluções que andam por ai, mas não resultam em condições.

Se colocares o banner com float: left;  não resolve?

Depende de theme para theme, coloca float: left; no banner e depois clear: left; no texto.

Exacto, isso é importante.

Pessoalmente gosto mais da solução overflow: hidden; acho mais clean e não implica colocar classes ou styles no markup, mas nem sempre é possível usar essa solução.

Em todo o caso, pelo que me parece um

display: inline-block funcionava e era menos "agressivo" que as soluções dos floats e dos clears, etc.
